This video serves as an introduction to Module One of the Instructional Design and Tech Accelerator program. It outlines the foundational concepts of instructional design and explains what participants will be learning and doing throughout the course. The instructor introduces the program's primary goal: to help learners build an online portfolio with 4–5 instructional design assets. The video also highlights 12 terminal goals, ranging from applying design thinking and creating e-learning materials to writing learning objectives and developing a standout resume. Participants are encouraged to identify the top three goals they find most important and to set personal "goal-getter" objectives to stay motivated throughout the program.
